Auto layout is optimized for every notation. Cubetto understands its structure, arranges objects and keeps even complex models readable.
CubeText
A diagram in Cubetto is more than its drawing. CubeText exposes the underlying objects, relationships and properties as compact, editable text.
AI assistant
Available on macOS onlyThe assistant uses the current CubeText as context. It answers questions about responsibilities, flows and dependencies, grounding every answer in the model objects involved.
Model Context Protocol
Available on macOS onlyVia MCP, agents can use Cubetto 7 as a modeling and rendering engine. Cubetto validates the structure, applies the notation, arranges the elements and renders a traceable model.
Exchange
Cubetto 7 reads every model created with Cubetto 5 and imports BPMN XML as a new presentation. Inspect the result on the canvas, then export diagrams in the formats your workflow needs.
All six export formats are available on Mac and iPad. Both apps use the same .cubetto document format, so files can be transferred between devices and edited further.
Compatibility
Two native apps, one shared purchase. Cubetto 7 uses the appropriate platform and processor architecture on every supported device.
The Mac app contains code for both arm64 and x86_64. Cubetto 7 runs natively on Macs with Apple silicon and does not require Rosetta. Supported Intel Macs use their own native code path.
Compatible Intel models are the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2019), the 13-inch MacBook Pro (2020, four Thunderbolt 3 ports), the 27-inch Retina 5K iMac (2020) and the Mac Pro (2019).
Compatible Mac models at Apple ↗Cubetto 7 is offered as a dedicated app for compatible iPads. The current version requires iPadOS 26.4 or later and is not available for iPhone.
Edit models with touch or Apple Pencil, or use a keyboard, mouse or trackpad. CubeText is also available on iPad; the AI assistant and MCP are available on Mac.
